| Winter Multisport Itinerary
Spend a week enjoying all that the Canadian Rockies has to offer! This exciting winter trip will keep your spirits high and your adrenaline running.
You will spend one day exploring the many trails and runs of the Kimberely Ski Resort. This is an excellent hill for the beginner and the experienced skier, it offers a large variety of runs for all. Large lift lines are almost unheard of at Kimberley and so you will have lots of opportunity to get all the runs you want in.
Then we will head out to ride that deep dry powder on snowmobiles. You will spend some time getting geared up, learning how to ride and off you go with the guides. Carve the deep powder wiht your sled as you investigate the many secret trails around the Kimberley area, if you have never tried this sport, you are in for the time of your life.
MUSH, MUSH cries the leader, the howls from the dogs and your off! Today you will learn all about one of our oldest winter transportation systems, dog sledding. You will head out to the kennels, meet the dogs and climb aboard, your guides will then take you through the trails and teach you how to run the sleds. You may even have the chance to mush the dogs on your own.
Today we will wind our way through the snow on snowshoe. We will investigate the lower part of the valley and try to come upon some elk eating in the deep snow, and then build a warm campfire and have a hearty lunch. We will then return to the comforts of our resort where we will have a great wrap up dinner.
