Looking for something to do this winter?

Winter in the Canadian Rockies is spectacular! The Kootenay area is located in a wonderful location where snow levels vary greatly from one site to the next.  This allows us the opportunity to be involved in a huge diversity of activities.

Winter temperatures make it easy to take part in all our activities and with so many great things to do you will never be bored! Why not try a day of snowmobiling, or try out the exciting Northern activity dogsledding, both will get your heart racing.  Or join us for a drive through our forests and see some of the many wildlife that live in our area.  Winter is a great time to see wildlife as they move down out of the mountains into the warmer food abundant valley bottoms.  Then we can hit the hotsprings and enjoy a relaxing soak in the warm natural hotsprings that bubble from the earth.

Are you a downhill skier? Well you can experience two amazing ski hills on our area.  Kimberley is a great family hill with a great diversity of runs, while Fernie is legendary for its deep and steep powder, stay at one or visit both! Maybe cross country skiing is more your speed. Lets head out and build those trails on our own, slipping and sliding through the snow.
