An Adventure of a Lifetime!
A
Howling Wolf Adventure is a spectacular fun-filled, scenic vacation.
To simplify your planning, we offer two types of adventures, Classic
and Custom. Classic adventures are pre-organized vacations that
allow you to select an itinerary that interests you and register!
Simple!
Custom adventures are for those seeking a different combination
of activities or only have specific vacation dates available.
Further customize any adventure by adding a day of activity that
you have always wanted to try with our adventure add-ons. Trip
lengths vary. Classic Adventures are 6-day trips. Custom adventures
can be planned for a single day, weekend or extended period of
time.
Group
sizes are kept small so that attention to detail can be our main
focus. Our maximum for a Classic adventure is twelve guests with
two guides. Guests will get one on one time with their guides,
for instruction and support.
Howling Wolf Adventures provides all of the
specialized gear needed on your adventure (packs, bikes, snowshoes
etc.). We know our area better than anyone and will take care
of all local arrangements. You will visit the best resorts, inns
and restaurants our area has to offer.
Families are always welcome with Howling Wolf Adventures and we
have trips specially planned for families as well as special family
departure dates. Generally children 14 and over do well on our
Classic Adventures and are more than welcome to attend with an
adult. Families with children from 6-13 usually choose a Family
adventure or a Custom adventure so that all of their needs are
met. Teens can join our teen summer camp programs on their own.
Although the scenery and wildlife of
the Canadian Rockies is breathtaking, we know you want more! With
Howling Wolf learning is an important part of all of our adventures.
Our area is rich with unique natural features and historic sites,
our local guides will take every opportunity to provide you with
knowledge about our unique area. Interpretation can include; Fort
Steele Historic Park, Historic Fisherville, discussions with local
biologists, birding with an expert, Columbia Valley wetland tours,
Creston Valley Wildlife Centre...to name just a few.
